During a visit to the Kapolei location of Ground Transport, Inc., Kelly met up with Diana Kawaa-Leopoldo, Human Resources Manager, and Mark Agmata, Fleet Maintenance Manager. They discussed the company’s substantial expansion and the many job opportunities now available across Hawaii.

​Ground Transport Incorporated is Hawaii’s Local School Bus Company and has been around for over 30 years providing transportation for schools and non-profit groups with safety as its #1 priority.

“We have a commitment and focus on safety for the students we are responsible for, for other drivers and pedestrians on the road, as well as the safety of our employees. This means big investments in new buses and vans, as well as technology upgrades to our GPS and cameras. The company has also created safe and clean facilities on both Oahu and Maui so that our employees have a nice place to work,” says Anthony Valiente, Director of Operations at Ground Transport Incorporated. 

New hires will complete training with an annual refresher training such as Driver Improvement and In-Service training.
